  1. Yes, I would say these are all equally important.

  2. I think Universal access to optimal care is very important, so parents can pursue their career without the fear of losing insurance and to stuck with big companys. For patients that can manage their life, they will be able to explore their talents, contribute to the sociaty without losing their entire income to high medical expense or being disqualified from state/government support just because they have a job.

  3. There are still big gaps in the care of chronical diseases, many depends on the type of insurance and the cost. The Universal access to optimal care may provide a standard of minimum care. Hopefully more organized clinical networks can establish optimal care standard, and compete for better reputation by improving the care and the results.

  4. And what about pre-existing conditions. If you have a chronic lifetime ailment, should you be subjected to harassment from insurance companies.

  5. The pre-existing conditions have ripple effects. It not only affect the patients, it affects the parents as well. Patients and parents face harassements from their employer, the hospital's billing department, the collection agencies, etc. even when the errors were between the provider and the insurance company.
